Privacy Policy

1. The short version

FirstSpot collects as little as possible. There are no accounts and no passwords. We never see your payment card — that's handled by our payment provider. Everything you submit to the board is public by design.

2. What we collect

• Listing data you submit: the link, its name, category, and any tagline or icon.
• Bid data: amounts and timestamps, kept as a record of the leaderboard.
• Click counts: when someone visits a listing through our redirect, we increment a counter. This is an aggregate count, not a profile of individuals.
• Basic technical logs: IP address and request metadata, used only for security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting.

3. What we don't collect

We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't collect passwords. We never receive or store your card number, CVV, or bank details — those go straight to our payment provider.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. When you pay, your payment information is collected and processed by Razorpay under their own privacy policy. We receive only what we need to place your bid on the board (such as the amount and a payment reference).

5. Public information

Your listing — its name, link, category, tagline, current bid, rank, and click count — is shown publicly on the leaderboard, in share cards, and via the embeddable badge. Don't submit anything you wouldn't want to be public.

6. Cookies and analytics

We keep tracking to a minimum and don't use advertising cookies or sell your data. Any analytics we use are limited to understanding aggregate traffic so we can keep the site running.

7. Who we share data with

We don't sell your personal data. We share the minimum necessary with the service providers that run FirstSpot — our payment provider (Razorpay), our hosting and database providers — solely so they can operate the service on our behalf.

8. Retention and your choices

We keep listing and bid records as long as needed to run the leaderboard and for legal or accounting purposes. To ask us to remove a listing you control, or to make a data request, email hello@firstspot.lol. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
